RaMona Westbrook Joins Board of Chicago Architecture Biennial RaMona Westbrook, President of Brook Architecture, accepted the invitation to join the Board of Directors of the Chicago Architecture Biennial, the largest architecture and design exhibition in North America. This year’s exhibition runs from September 16, 2017 thru January 7, 2018 with its central hub located in the Chicago Cultural Center. New this year, the exhibition will reach into the neighborhoods, with six sites outside of downtown, including the south side’s Beverly Arts Center and the DuSable Museum of African American History. “Our practice is community based. Our projects elevate and strengthen neighborhoods. I’m excited that people will be able participate in the exhibitions, lectures and performances in places that are close to home”, says RaMona. “My appointment to the board gives me a unique opportunity and a platform to promote the importance of architecture. For the next four months, I can direct people to exhibits and performances that illuminate architecture and make it relevant to all Chicagoans.
